Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When the distance control ECU or ECM is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed (See INSTALLATION ).

REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU
1. Replace the distance control ECU (See DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ).

CHECK DTC

Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
Turn the cruise control main switch on
Drive the vehicle at the require speed (45 km/h (27 mph) or higher).

Check if the same DTC is recorded (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
