Any of the following is detected
- Open or short in the solenoid circuit continues for 0 05 seconds or more
- While switching solenoid (SM1 or SM2) outputting OFF, an open circuit continues for 0 05 seconds or more
- While switching solenoid (SM1 or SM2) outputting OFF, current continues to be applied for 0 05 seconds or more
- While switching solenoid (SM1 or SM2) outputting ON, overcurrent continues for 0 1 seconds or more
- While switching solenoid (SM1 or SM2) outputting ON, an open circuit continues for 0 05 seconds or more

- Brake actuator assembly (SM1 or SM2)
- SM1 or SM2 circuit
- Skid control ECU
