Outer Rear View Mirror: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
2. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
3. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR 
   1. Connect each connector.
   2. Engage the 4 claws and install the outer mirror.

4. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
   1. Install the outer rear view mirror assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

   2. Engage the clip.
   3. Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH  (See INSTALLATION )
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP INNER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH  (See INSTALLATION )
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
       NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
