Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the DA, DD and DK J/B connectors.
    2. Disconnect the V1 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      BECU (DK-5) - GND2 (DA-5) G-R - W-B BECU power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND2 (DA-5) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND2 (DD-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      DCTY (V1-14) - Body ground R - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch signal Driver side door is closed Below 1 Ω
      DCTY (V1-14) - Body ground R - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch signal Driver side door is open 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the M9 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      CPUB (M9-4) - GND (M9-1) LG - W-B Battery power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M9-6) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B SIG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B SIG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      GND (M9-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M9 and M10 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      A- (M10-1) - GND (M9-1) R - W-B Door lock motor LOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder UNLOCK 10 to 14 V
      A- (M10-1) - GND (M9-1) R - W-B Door lock motor LOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder LOCK Below 1 V
      A+ (M10-2) - GND (M9-1) G - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder LOCK 10 to 14 V
      A+ (M10-2) - GND (M9-1) G - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder UNLOCK Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the M3 and M4 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      CPUB (M4-4) - GND (M4-1) LG - W-B Battery power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M4-6) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B SIG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B SIG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      GND (M4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      LSW (M3-14) - LSWE (M3-4) G - LG Door lock position switch signal Passenger side door is locked Below 1 Ω
      LSW (M3-14) - LSWE (M3-4) G - LG Door lock position switch signal Passenger side door is unlocked 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M3 and M4 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the O7 and O8 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      CPUB (O7-4) - GND (O7-1) BR - W-B Battery power supply Always 10 to 14 V

      SIG (O7-3) - GND (O7-1) G - W-B SIG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      LSW (O8-14) - LSWE (O8-13) LG - W-B Rear door side LH door lock position switch input Rear door side LH door is UNLOCK Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the O7 and O8 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      A+ (O8-2) - GND (O7-1) O - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder LOCK 10 to 14 V
      A+ (O8-2) - GND (O7-1) O - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (master switch or passenger side door control switch) or driver side door key cylinder UNLOCK Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the Q13 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
