Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Installation

INSTALL FUEL TANK VENT TUBE SET PLATE
1. Install a new gasket, support plate and set plate with the 4 screws.

INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
1. Install the sensor to the support plate.
  CAUTION: Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the connecting parts.

2. Fix the sensor in place with the joint clip with the joint clip.

  CAUTION:
  - Check that the joint clip is inserted securely.
  - After installing the joint clip, check that the sensor has not been pulled off.
  - Be careful not to damage the clip. If the clip is damaged, replace it.
3. Connect the sensor connector.

INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL TANK PROTECTOR
1. Install the protector.
  1. Set the protector onto the vent tube set plate.
  2. Turn the protector and install it securely.
INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY
1. Install the fuel tank (see INSTALLATION ).
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP (See INSTALLATION )
CHECK FOR FUEL LEAK (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
