Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU

    1. Disconnect the U28 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      +B1 (U28-1) - Body ground R - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG (U28-18) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      IG (U28-18) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      E (U28-17) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the U28 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      CLG1 (U28-33) - CG1B (U28-34) W - R Door electrical key oscillator (for front LH) sensor signal All doors closed, all doors locked and power switch OFF Alternating between 5 V and below 1 V

      SEN1 (U28-22) - E (U28-17) V - W-B Touch sensor detection signal Outside door handle touched 10 to 14 V
      SEN1 (U28-22) - E (U28-17) V - W-B Touch sensor detection signal Outside door handle not touched Below 1 V
      SEL1 (U28-5) - E (U28-17) B - W-B Touch sensor activation control signal Key at least 3 m (9.8 ft.) away from door 10 to 14 V

      CLG2 (U28-35) - CG2B (U28-36) B - W Door electrical key oscillator (for front RH) sensor signal All doors closed, all doors locked and power switch OFF Alternating between 5 V and below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)

    1. Disconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      BECU (DK-5) - Body ground G-R - Body ground +B (ECUB) engine supply Always 10 to 14 V
      ALTB (DM-1) - Body ground B - Body ground +B (power system, generator system) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BATB (DN-1) - Body ground R - Body ground +B (power system, generator system) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND2 (DD-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance of the connector.
      RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      TSW (K68-2) - GND2 (DD-7) BR - W-B Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch signal Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      TSW (K68-2) - GND2 (DD-7) BR - W-B Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch signal Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the M9 and M10 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (M9-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M9-4) - GND (M9-1) LG - W-B CPUB power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M9-6) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B BDR power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B IG power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      TRG+ (M10-18) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      TRG+ (M10-18) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the M9 and M10 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      OSCB (M10-7) - OSCE (M10-20) SB - G Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH (FRONT PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the M3 and M4 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (M4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M4-4) - GND (M4-1) LG - W-B CPUB power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M4-6) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B BDR power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B IG power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      TRG+ (M3-18) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      TRG+ (M3-18) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the M3 and M4 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      OSCB (M3-7) - OSCE (M3-20) R - G Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH (REAR DOOR LH ECU)

    1. Disconnect the O7 and O8 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (O7-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (O7-4) - GND (O7-1) BR - W-B CPUB power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (O7-6) - GND (O7-1) L - W-B BDR power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (O7-3) - GND (O7-1) G - W-B IG power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the O7 and O8 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      OSCB (O8-7) - OSCE (O8-20) R - G Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH (REAR DOOR RH ECU)

    1. Disconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (O3-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (O3-4) - GND (O3-1) G - W-B CPUB power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BDR (O3-6) - GND (O3-1) L - W-B BDR power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (O3-3) - GND (O3-1) L - W-B IG power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      TRG+ (O2-18) - GND (O3-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      TRG+ (O2-18) - GND (O3-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the O2 and O3 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      OSCB (O2-7) - OSCE (O2-20) R - G Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (MULTIPLEX NETWORK REAR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the LC and LF ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      ECUB (LC-15) - Body ground B - Body ground +B Always 10 to 14 V
      PGND (LF-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      SG (LC-3) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.
