Front Side Speaker: Removal

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE DOOR ARMREST COVER (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the 4 screws and front No. 1 speaker assembly.NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 2 speaker assembly.
- Lift the front No. 2 speaker assembly and disconnect the connector to remove the front No. 2 speaker assembly.NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
