Outer Rear View Mirror: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedure listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
2. REMOVE NO. 2 DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW UPPER BRACKET GARNISH LH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
5. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH 
   1. Disconnect the mirror connector labeled A.
   2. Remove the clamp labeled B.
   3. Remove the 3 bolts and outer rear view mirror.

6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
   1. Using a molding remover, detach the 4 claws.

      HINT:

      Apply protective tape to the mirror body.

   2. Pull up the mirror and remove it.

   3. Remove the 2 connectors and disconnect the mirror.

7. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER LH 
   1. Remove the 4 screws.

   2. Detach the claw and remove the visor rim.

   3. Remove the protect cover LH.

   4. Detach the 3 clamps and remove the outer mirror cover,
