Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Operate the ignition switch. Check if DTC B2780 is output.
Result:
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTC B2780 is not output A DTC B2780 is output B
B: GO TO ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM
A: Go to Next Step
- Operate the ignition switch. Check if DTC B2780 is output.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (KEY REMINDER BUZZER)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the key reminder buzzer.
Meter ECU:
ACTIVE TESTItem Test Details Diagnostic Note KEY REMINDER BUZZER Combination meter warning buzzer OFF / ON - OK: Key reminder buzzer is sounding.
OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ECU
NG: Go to Next Step
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the key reminder buzzer.
- CHECK OPERATION OF FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Open the driver side door and check that the map light illuminates.
OK: Map light illuminates.
NG: GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Open the driver side door and check that the map light illuminates.
