Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (TURN SIGNAL LIGHT)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to generate a control command, and then check that the turn signal light illuminates.

- INSPECT FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

- Remove the front turn signal light.
- Apply battery voltage to the front turn signal light connector and check that the front turn signal light illuminates.

NG: REPLACE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next step
- INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TURN SIGNAL LIGHT)
- Remove the rear combination light.
- Apply battery voltage to the front turn signal light connector and check that the turn signal light illuminates.
OK

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4Turn signal light illuminates
NG: REPLACE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next step
- INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3.
- Connect the 2 turn signal light bulbs parallel to each other to terminals 1 and 2, and check that the bulbs flash.
OK: Bulbs flash.
HINT:
- The turn signal lights should flash 60 to 120 times per minute.
- If one of the front or rear turn signal lights has an open circuit, the number of flashes will be more than 140 per minute.
NG: REPLACE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FLASHER - ECU AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the T15 flasher connector.
- Disconnect the 2E junction block connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the F7*1 or F8*2 light connector.
HINT:
*1: LH
*2: RH
- Disconnect the 2D junction block connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
LH
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition F7-2 - 2D-2 (TURN LH) Below 1 Ω F7-1 - Body ground Below 1 Ω F7-2 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher RH

- Disconnect the F7*1 or F8*2 light connector.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the R6*1 or R7*2 light connector.

*2: RH
- Disconnect the 2E junction block connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
LH
