Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SWITCH)

- Remove the A/C control.
- Measure the resistance of the A/C control.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A9-12 - A10-14 Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω A9-12 - A10-14 Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (A/C CONTROL - ECU AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the A9 and A10 A/C control connectors.
- Disconnect the D4 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the Identifying harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition A9-12 - D4-2 (HAZ) Below 1 Ω A10-14 - Body ground Below 1 Ω A9-12 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the 2D junction block connector.
- Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard voltage
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition 2D-3 (HAZ) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
