Damaging Force Control Actuator: Replacement

  1. REMOVE GAS CHAMBER 
    1. Place damping force control actuator in a vise.
    2. Using SST, remove the gas camber.

      SST 09922-10010 

    3. Remove the O-ring and back up ring from the gas chamber
  2. INSTALL GAS CHAMBER 
    1. Install a new back up ring and O-ring to the gas chamber.
      NOTE: Be careful not to damage the O-ring.

    2. Coat the O-ring with suspension fluid AHC.
    3. Using SST, install the gas chamber.

      SST 09922-10010 

      Torque: 25 N*m (250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 345 mm (13.58 in.).

      NOTE: Use SST (09922-10010) in the direction as shown.
