Yaw Rate And Deceleration Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4WD)  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the yaw rate and deceleration sensor connector.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Yaw Rate And Deceleration Sensor Connector And Bolts

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and remove the yaw rate and deceleration sensor.
