Steering Column Assembly: Inspection

  1. CHECK TORQUE SENSOR 
    1. Check the torque sensor (see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).
  2. CHECK POWER STEERING MOTOR 
    1. Check the power steering motor (see INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
  3. CHECK MOTOR ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR 
    1. Check the motor rotation angle sensor (see DTC C1524/24 MOTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE MALFUNCTION ).
