  1. CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS PIG AND PGND OF VGRS ECU CONNECTOR 
    1. Record and clear VGRS DTCs.
    2. Start the engine and measure the voltage between terminals V10-1 (PIG) and V10-2 (PGND) of the VGRS ECU.

      Result Proceed to
      9 to 16 V A
      Below 9 V B
      Above 16 V C

    B: CHECK AND REPAIR HARNESS AND VGRS FUSE 

    C: CHECK AND REPAIR CHARGING SYSTEM 

    A: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK VGRS FOR DTC C1554/54 
    1. Is DTC C1551/54 present?
      NOTE: Fault may be intermittent. Check harness and connectors carefully and retest.

    YES: REPLACE VGRS ECU 

    NG: NO FAULT DETECTED
