Component Inspection

- CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect stop lamp switch harness connector.
- Check continuity between stop lamp switch terminals under the following conditions.CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Stop lamp switch Condition Continuity Terminal 1 2 Brake pedal Not depressed No Depressed Yes Courtesy of NISSAN MOTOR CO., U.S.A.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Replace stop lamp switch.
