- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Delete the DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).

- READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH)
- Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly.

Center Console Switch

OFF: Rear sunshade switch is not pressed- OK: Rear sunshade raises or lowers.
- Intelligent tester
NG: Go to step 3
OK: REPLACE NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH (See REMOVAL )
- Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly.
- INSPECT NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH
- Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCHTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 8 - 12 Rear sunshade switch is pushed Below 200 Ω 8 - 12 Rear sunshade switch is not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH (See REMOVAL )
OK: REPLACE NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH (See REMOVAL )
