Rear Bumper: Installation

1. Attach the 3 claws to install the retainer.
2. Install the 5 screws.

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Attach the 2 clips to install the retainer.

1. Attach the 2 clips to install the retainer.
2. Attach the wire clamp.

1. Attach the clip and 2 claws to install the side support.
2. Install the 4 screws.

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Install the reinforcement with the 8 screws.

   Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

1. Attach the 6 claws to install the bumper arm reinforcement.

1. Install the bumper bar to the energy absorber.

1. Install the energy absorber.

1. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

   Connect the No. 3 floor wire connectors.

2. Attach the 8 claws to install the rear bumper.

3. Attach the 10 claws to connect the rear bumper.

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

4. Install the bumper seal bracket and attach the clip.

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

5. Install the 6 screws and 6 clips.

1. Attach the 3 claws to install the bumper plate.

   HINT:

   Attach the claw on the inner side first.

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
   NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
