High Mounted Stop Light Assembly: Removal

  1. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER 
    1. While pressing the cover, slide it toward the outer side of the vehicle.
    2. Detach the 4 claws.
    3. Remove the center stop light cover as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER 
    1. While pressing the cover, slide it toward the outer side of the vehicle.
    2. Detach the 4 claws.
    3. Remove the No. 2 center stop light cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT CLIP 
    1. Turn the 2 center stop light clips 90° and remove them.
  4. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the harness and connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the center stop light.
