Front Door Courtesy Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Body ground Pin not pushed Below 1 Ω
      1 - Body ground Pin pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front door courtesy light switch.
