Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. LED illumination inspection
      1. Apply battery voltage to the terminals of the connector, and check the LED illumination condition.

        OK 

        HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        1 (ILL+) - 5 (ILL-) Night illumination comes on
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (HAZ) - 6 (GND) Hazard warning signal switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      7 (HAZ) - 6 (GND) Hazard warning signal switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch.
