Stereo Component Amplifier: Removal

REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See REMOVAL )
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
1. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Remove the 4 nuts and amplifier with bracket.

REMOVE NO. 1 AMPLIFIER BRACKET
1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
