Instrument Panel Speaker: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 -2 Always Approx. 6 Ω *1
      1 -2 Always 5 to 7 Ω *2

      HINT:

      • *1: for Standard models.
      • *2: for 19 speakers models.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker assembly.

  2. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 -2 Always Approx. 6 Ω *1
      1 -2 Always 5 to 7 Ω *2

      HINT:

      • *1: for standard models.
      • *2: for 19 speakers models.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker assembly.
