4WD Control Ecu: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE 4WD CONTROL ECU 
    1. Turn back the front floor carpet assembly.
    2. Disengage the 2 clips and separate the junction connector.

    3. Remove the bolt and nut.

    4. Disconnect the clamp and connector, and remove the 4WD control ECU.
