Inspection Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the J51 connector from the multi-display.
- Disconnect the Q43 connector from the television camera assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE .
Standard resistance

OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY
- Reconnect the multi-display J51 connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in MULTI-DISPLAY .
Standard voltage
MULTI-DISPLAY VOLTAGETester Connection Condition Specified Condition CB+ (Q43-4) - CGND (Q43-3) Engine switch on (IG) Shift lever R position Approx. 6 V NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
OK: Go to next step.
- INSPECT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
- Reconnect the multi-display J51 connector and the television camera assembly Q43 connector.
- Check the waveform of the television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.
- Measurement terminal: CV+ - CV-Measurement setting: 0.2 V/DIV, 0.2
s/DIV Condition: Engine switch on (IG), Shift lever in R range
OK: Pulses as shown in Fig 4 .
- Measurement terminal: CV+ - CV-Measurement setting: 0.2 V/DIV, 0.2
s/DIV Condition: Engine switch on (IG), Shift lever in R range
