Engine Oil Cooler: Installation

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.
    2. Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler.
    3. Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the head of the union bolt.
    4. Install the plate washer and union bolt.

      Torque: 69 N*m (700 kgf*cm, 51 ft.*lbf) 

    5. Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the oil cooler.
  2. INSTALL OIL FILTER ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. ADD ENGINE OIL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. FILL UP ENGINE COOLANT (See  COOLANT  ) 
  5. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEAKS 
  6. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK (See  COOLING SYSTEM  ) 
  7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY REAR
