Outside Moulding: Installation
- INSTALL FRONT FENDER MOULDING OUTSIDE FRONT LH
- Clean the body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the body.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).
- If reusing the moulding, clean the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the moulding.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the moulding, as shown in the illustration.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).
- Install the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.

NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively. - Release the peeling paper from the face of the moulding.
HINT:
Be careful that dirt or foreign object does not stick to the adhesive part when releasing the moulding peeling paper.
- Engage the 13 clips and install the moulding, and firmly press on the moulding.NOTE: Do not apply excessive force onto the moulding, nut steady pressure with your thumbs. (d) Install the 7 bolts.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.
- Clean the body surface.
- INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR MOULDING OUTSIDE LH
- Clean the body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the body.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).
- If reusing the moulding, Clean the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the moulding.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the moulding, as shown in the illustration.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).
- Install the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.

- INSTALL FRONT DOOR MOULDING OUTSIDE LOWER LH
- Engage the moulding.
- Install the 5 screws.
- INSTALL QUARTER OPENING RETAINER LH
- Install the retainer with the 3 bolts.
- INSTALL REAR DOOR MOULDING OUTSIDE LH
- Clean the body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the body.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).
- If reusing the moulding, clean the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the moulding.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the moulding, as shown in the illustration.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).
- Install the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.

- Engage the 10 clips, and firmly press on the moulding.NOTE: Do not apply excessive force onto the moulding, but steady pressure with your thumbs.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.
- Using an air riveter or hand riveter with nose piece, strike the 3 rivets into the door panel to install the moulding to the door panel.NOTE: If the rivet is not positioned perpendicularly, it will bend the mandrel.
- Refer to NOTICE below.NOTE:
- Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, because the riveter will be damaged and the mandrel will be bent.
- Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the speaker.
- Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the speaker.
- Do not leave any space between the rivet head and the speaker.
- Only install the rivet when there is no clearance between the materials to be secured.
- Clean the body surface.
- INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING LOWER LH
- Engage the moulding.
- Install the 4 screws.
- INSTALL QUARTER MOULDING OUTSIDE NO. 4
- Clean the body surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).NOTE: Do not heat the body excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the body.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Using a heat light, heat the body surface between 40 and 60°C (104 and 140°F).
- If reusing the moulding, clean the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).NOTE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.
- Remove the double-sided tape from the moulding.
- Wipe off the stains with cleaner.
- Apply new double-sided tape to the moulding, as shown in the illustration.
- Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 20 and 30°C (68 and 86°F).
- Install the moulding.
- Using a heat light, heat the body and moulding.

- Install the clip, and rear bumper side support LH.
- Install the screw.
- Clean the body surface.
