Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMMUNICATION LINE)

    1. Disconnect the R10 and T6 ECU connectors.
    2. Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard resistance 

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) Specified Condition
    MPX1 (R10-13) - MPX1 (T6-5) Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to Next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)

    1. Check the voltage between the wire harness side connector and body ground.

    Standard voltage 

    VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) Specified Condition
    +B (R10-1) - Body ground 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to Next step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND)

    1. Check the resistance between the wire harness side connector and body ground.

Standard resistance 

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Symbols (Terminal No.) Specified Condition
GND (R10-14) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU
