Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    NOTE: Do not disassemble the retractor.
    1. Align the seat belt positioning hole with the claw and install the retractor of the seat belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Sunshade) 
    1. Attach the clip and install the package tray trim panel.
    2. Attach the 4 claws and install the belt guide center.

    3. Attach the 4 claws and install the belt guide.

    4. Attach the 4 claws and install the belt guide.

  3. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the package tray trim panel.
      1. Connect the connector.
      2. Attach the 5 claws and clip, and install the panel.

  4. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the seat belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.
    2. Connect the connector labeled A.
      NOTE: Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding parts of the vehicle body.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Install the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt RH with the bolt as shown in the illustration.
    2. Connect the connector labeled A.
      NOTE: Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding parts of the vehicle body.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT OUTER ANCHOR 
    1. Install the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt with the bolt.
      NOTE: Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding parts of the vehicle body.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH AND LH 
    1. Install the 2 headrests.
  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
