Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the seat belt with the nut.

      Torque 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding part of the seat adjuster.
    2. Install the seat belt's wire harness clamp.
    3. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place the seat in the cabin.
    2. Connect the connectors under the seat.
    3. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.
    4. Install the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

      Torque: 36.8 N*m (375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      Install the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    5. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
    6. Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

      Torque: 36.8 N*m (375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  3. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using the power seat switch knob, move the seat so that the seat belt anchor bolt is revealed.
    2. Install the front seat outer belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

    3. Install the seat belt anchor cover cap.
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
