Air Conditioning Unit: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the packing from the A/C tube.

    2. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and A/C tube.
    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the A/C tube.

  2. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE 
    1. Remove the cooler expansion valve from the cooler evaporator.

  3. REMOVE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR RH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 3 screws and servo motor.

  4. REMOVE AIR MIX CONTROL SERVO MOTOR RH 
    1. Remove the 4 clamps and disconnect the connector to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and heater piping cover.

    3. Remove the 3 screws and servo motor.

  5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the clamp.

    2. Detach the 4 clamps and then disconnect the wire harness.
    3. Remove the A/C harness as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and air duct.

    2. Remove the 4 screws and servo motors.

    3. Remove the 3 screws.
    4. Detach the claw and remove the air outlet control servo motor.

  7. REMOVE AIR MIX CONTROL SERVO MOTOR LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.
    2. Detach the claw and remove the servo motor.

  8. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the screw and clamp.
    2. Remove the radiator unit.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 5 screws.
    2. Release the 3 claws and remove the air duct case.

    3. Remove the cooler evaporator from the heater case.
    4. Remove the 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator.
