Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU RH - POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the DA and DD ECU connectors.
    2. Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      DD-2 - K73-11 (ACCD) Below 1 Ω
      DA-5 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
      DD-7 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
      K73-11 (ACCD) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      DD-2 or K73-11 (ACCD) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: GO TO Next Step 

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (ACC RELAY) 
    1. Disconnect the DD and DM ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance of the ECU connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DM-1 - DD-27 or DD-26 When battery voltage is not applied to terminals DD-2 and DD-7 or DA-5 10 kΩ or higher
      DM-1 - DD-27 or DD-26 When battery voltage is applied to terminals DM-1 and DD-7 or DA-5 Below 1 Ω
      DD-2 - DD-7 20°C (68°F) Approx. 88.2 Ω

    NG: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH 

    OK: GO TO Next Step 

  3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU (ACCD VOLTAGE) 
    1. Measure the output voltage of the power source control ECU.

      Standard voltage 

      STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      11 (ACCD) - Body ground Power switch ON (ACC) 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU 

    OK: END
