Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU BRANCH WIRE) 
    1. Disconnect the K66 network gateway ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K66-17 (CA1H) - K66-18 (CA1L) Power switch OFF 54 to 69 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL) 

    OK: GO TO Next Step 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the K66 network gateway ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      K66-24 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K66-10 (BATT) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      K66-1 (IG) - Body ground Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
