Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the A53 ECM connector.
2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   A53-32 (EC) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
   E83-107 (E03) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
   E83-23 (E04) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
   E83-46 (E05) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A53-20 (BATT) - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V
   A53-11 (IGSW) - Body ground	Power switch ON (IG)	10 to 14 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE ECM
