Data List / Active Test
HINT:
Using the intelligent tester DATA LIST allows switch, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.
- READ DATA LIST
- Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch ON (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.
- Following the display on the tester, select "DATA LIST".

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST
- Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Following the display on the intelligent tester, perform the "ACTIVE TEST".
