Introduction
The DCC fuse (20A) has been removed from the GS 350 and GS 430 at the assembly plant to reduce parasitic draw during transportation and storage.
The DCC fuse is stored in the blank space of the relay block in the engine compartment and must be reinstalled to its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
Applicable Vehicles
- 2007 model year GS 350 and GS 430 vehicles.

Installation Procedure
- Push the core of the clips of the cool air intake duct seal and remove the clips. Then remove the cool air intake duct seal.
- Push the core of the clips of the engine room side cover and turn the plastic nut by hand until it turns freely. Then loosen the clip and remove the engine room side cover.
- Make sure that the wheels are pointing straight ahead and the steering wheel is centered before installing the DCC fuse.
- With the ignition switch OFF, install the DCC fuse in its original location in the engine room relay block.
NOTE:
- Removing the DCC fuse cuts off the power sources to the DOME and MPX circuits.
- While the vehicle is stored at the dealership, disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent battery discharge. Refer to TSIB No. PG001-06, BATTERY MAINTENANCE FOR IN-STOCK VEHICLES & PRE-DELIVERY
- Replace the engine room side cover and cool air intake duct seal. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- When inserting the plastic nut, push it in.
- When inserting the clips, refer to the following illustration.
