On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. CHECK DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER 
    1. Disconnect the U36 receiver connector.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      U36-2 (+5) - Body ground 4.6 to 5.4 V
      U36-6 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the U36 connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U36-3 (DATA) - Body ground Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch not pressed 10 to 14 V
      U36-3 (DATA) - Body ground Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the receiver may have a malfunction.
