Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the antenna cord connector from the ECU.
2. Measure the resistance of the connector.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   1 (SIGNAL) - Body ground	50 to 500 Ω

OK: Go to step   3 

NG: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the antenna cord connector from the ECU.
2. Disconnect the antenna cord connector from the telephone antenna.
3. Measure the resistance of the antenna cord.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   1 (SIGNAL) - 1	Below 1 Ω
   Either terminal 1 - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY THEN CLEAR HISTORIC DTC 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Temporarily replace the Mayday ECU and Mayday battery with a new one.
2. Check for the current DTC again.

   OK: 

   System operates normally (red LED off). 

   NG: 

   Current DTC 3-1 exists 

NG: REPLACE TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (GPS ANTENNA) THEN CLEAR HISTORIC DTC 

OK: END (MAYDAY ECU IS FAULTY; PERFORM REGISTRATION)
