Inspection Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Disconnect the gateway CAN ECU connector (V39).
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Value
   V39-16 (CA1H) - V39-15 (CA1L)	Engine switch off	54 to 69 Ω
   V39-13 (CA2H) - V39-12 (CA2L)	Engine switch off	108 to 132 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE GATEWAY CAN ECU SUB BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L) 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Value
   V39-4 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

   V39-2 (BATT) - Body ground	Always	101 to 14 V
   V39-10 (IG1) - Body ground	Engine Switch on (IG)	10 to 14 V
   V39-9 (IG2) - Body ground	Engine Switch on (IG)	10 to 14 V
