Lumbar Support Adjuster Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Check operation of the lumbar support adjuster.
      1. Check if the lumbar support adjuster moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

        Measurement Condition Operation Direction
        Battery positive (+) → U8-2
        Battery negative (-) → U8-1        		 Clockwise
        Battery positive (+) → U8-1
        Battery negative (-) → U8-2        		 Counterclockwise

        If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar support adjuster LH.

  2. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Check operation of the lumbar support adjuster.
      1. Check if the lumbar support adjuster moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

        Battery positive (+) → T10-1
        Battery negative (-) → T10-2        		 Clockwise
        Battery positive (+) → T10-2
        Battery negative (-) → T10-1        		 Counterclockwise

        If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar support adjuster RH.
