Front Seat Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT FRAME WITH ADJUSTER LH 
    1. Check operation of the front vertical motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

        Measurement Condition Operational Direction
        Battery positive (+) → U5-1
        Battery negative (-) → U5-2
        Upward
        Battery positive (+) → U5-2
        Battery negative (-) → U5-1
        Downward

    2. Check operation of the reclining motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery positive (+) → U7-2
        Battery negative (-) → U7-1
        Forward
        Battery positive (+) → U7-1
        Battery negative (-) → U7-2
        Backward

    3. Check operation of the lifter motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery positive (+) → U9-2
        Battery negative (-) → U9-1
        Upward
        Battery positive (+) → U9-1
        Battery negative (-) → U9-2

    4. Check operation of the slide motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery negative (-) → U10-2
        Forward
        Battery positive (+) → U10-2
        Battery negative (-) → U10-1
        Backward

    5. Check operation of the leg support motor (with Seat Position Memory System).
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the leg support motor connector terminals.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

        Measurement Condition Operational Direction
        Battery positive (+) → U6-1
        Battery negative (-) → U6-2
        Forward
        Battery positive (+) → U6-2
        Battery negative (-) → U6-1
        Backward

        If the result is not as specified, replace the seat frame with adjuster LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT FRAME WITH ADJUSTER RH 
    1. Check operation of the front vertical motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery negative (-) → T8-1
        Upward
        Battery positive (+) → T8-1
        Battery negative (-) → T8-2

    2. Check operation of the lifter motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery positive (+) → T9-2

    3. Check operation of the reclining motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

        OK

    4. Check operation of the slide motor.
      1. Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

        OK

        Battery negative (-) → T12-1
        Forward
        Battery positive (+) → T12-1
        Battery negative (-) → T12-2
        Backward

        If the result is not as specified, replace the seat frame with adjuster RH.
