Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (SECURITY, MPX-B1, D/C CUT) 
    1. Remove the SECURITY fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Remove the MPX-B1 fuse from the passenger side J/B.
    3. Remove the D/C CUT fuse from the engine room No. 1 R/B.
    4. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard: Below 1 Ω 

    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the T7 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      17-20 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 ohms
      T7-1 (+B) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
      T7-21 (+B2) - Body ground 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
