Front Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS 
  2. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link assembly LH.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud.

  3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link assembly RH.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud.

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE 

    HINT:

    Refer to the instructions for removal of the engine assembly (See REMOVAL ).

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO.1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front stabilizer bracket No.1 LH.
  6. REMOVE FRONT NO.1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front stabilizer bracket No.1 RH.
  7. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the front frame assembly.
  8. REMOVE FRONT NO.2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bracket No.2 LH from the front stabilizer bar bushing No.1.
  9. REMOVE FRONT NO.2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bracket No.2 RH from the front stabilizer bar bushing No.1.
  10. REMOVE FRONT NO.1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 front stabilizer bar bushings No.1 from the front stabilizer bar.
