Park/Neutral Position Switch ASSY: Replacement

- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO.1
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSY REAR
- DISCONNECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CONNECTOR
- REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
- Pry off the lock washer and remove the nut.
- Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch.
- INSTALL PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
- Install the park/neutral position switch with bolt.
Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)
- Install a new lock washer and nut.
Torque: 7 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in..lbf)
- Bent the claws on the lock washer to stake the nut.
- Adjust the park/neutral position switch (see ADJUSTMENT ).
- Install the park/neutral position switch with bolt.
- CONNECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CONNECTOR
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSY REAR
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO.1
- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY (SEE ADJUSTMENT )
