Inspection Procedure

- CHECK SURROUNDING CONDITIONS
- Check if the cellular phone can make calls in a certain place.
OK:
Cellular phone can make calls.
NG: END (CELLULAR PHONES CAN ONLY FUNCTION IN CELLULAR SERVICE AREAS)
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- Check if the cellular phone can make calls in a certain place.
- CHECK RECEPTION
- Enter the "Information" screen by pressing the "INFO" switch.
- Select "Telephone".
- Check the BT mark.
Result:

C: CHECK THAT BLUETOOTH COMPATIBLE PHONE IS SELECTED AND REGISTERED

- Bring the cellular phone to a location where the Bluetooth connection mark turns blue, and proceed to the next step.
- CHECK RECEPTION
- Check if the reception level is the same on the cellular phone and the radio and navigation assembly.
OK:
The reception level differs greatly.
NG: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- Check if the reception level is the same on the cellular phone and the radio and navigation assembly.
- CHECK RECEPTION
- Place a cellular phone close to the radio and navigation assembly.
- Check if the reception level becomes the same on the cellular phone and the radio and navigation assembly.
OK:
Reception level does not become the same.
HINT:
The radio and navigation assembly receives radio waves of different strength depending on the strength of the radio wave transmitted by the cellular phone.
