Ignition Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Inspect the switch resistance.

    Resistance 

    TERMINAL RESISTANCE TABLE

    Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
    - LOCK 10 kΩ or higher
    2 - 3 ACC Below 1 Ω
    2 - 3 ON
    2 - 4
    6 - 7
    1 - 2 START
    2 - 4
    6 - 7
    7 - 8

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
