Brake Actuator: Removal
- DRAIN BRAKE FLUID NOTE: Wash brake fluid off immediately if it adheres to any painted surface.
- DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET
- Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the actuator with bracket.
- Use tags or make a memo to identify the re-conection points.
- Pull the lock lever upward.
- Disconnect the actuator connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts, the nut and the actuator with bracket.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the brake tubes and wire harness. - REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR
- Remove the 2 nuts and the brake actuator assembly from the brake actuator bracket.
