Inspection Procedure

1. Turn the ignition ON and check that the engine starts. 

NG: GO TO  SFI SYSTEM 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the E6 ECM connector.
2. Disconnect the T9 transponder key ECU connector.
3. Disconnect the C4 integration switch connector (w/o LEXUS Navigation System).
4. Disconnect the G3 gateway ECU connector (w/LEXUS Navigation System).

5. Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.

   Resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   E6-18 (MPX1) - T9-5 (MPX2)	Below 1 Ω
   E6-29 (MPX2) - C4-12 (MPX-)
   E6-29 (MPX2) - G3-11 (MPD2)

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE ECM
