  1. CHECK MOTOR POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE (PIG) 
    1. Record and clear VGRS DTCs.
    2. Start the engine and measure the voltage between terminals V10-1 (PIG) and V10-2 (PGND) of the VGRS ECU.

    Result 

    RESULT REFERENCE

    Result Proceed to
    9 to 16 V A
    Below 9 V B
    Above 16 V C

    B: CHECK OR REPAIR HARNESS AND VGRS FUSE 

    C: CHECK AND REPAIR CHARGING SYSTEM

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK VGRS FOR DTC C1552/52 
    1. Is DTC C1552/52 present?
    NOTE: Fault may be intermittent. Check harness and connectors carefully and retest.

    YES: REPLACE VGRS ECU 

    NO 

    NO FAULT DETECTED
