Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT REMOTE CONTROL MIRROR (ELECTROCHROMATIC MIRROR) (See  INSPECTION  ) 

    NG: REPLACE REMOTE CONTROL MIRROR 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR ECU - INNER MIRROR) 
    1. Driver side:

      Check the wire harness.

      1. Disconnect the D25 ECU connector.
      2. Disconnect the I19 mirror connector
      3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      D25-7 (ECI+) - I19-2 (EC+) Below 1 Ω
      D25-18 (ECI-) - I19-3 (EC-) Below 1 Ω
    2. Passenger side:

      Check the wire harness.

      1. Disconnect the F17 ECU connector.
      2. Disconnect the I19 mirror connector.
      3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard 

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    F17-7 (ECI+) - I19-2 (EC+) Below 1 Ω
    F17-18 (ECI-) - I19-3 (EC-) Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
